Update of Noia and Usurpress vinyls

I’ve packed all the orders that came in last week, please be patient I only have 2 hands. As for distributors so far Record Boy in Japan will have copies of both editions. Hells Headbangers, Nuclear Winter and Doomentia will have a handful copies for US, Greek and Czech customers out there, black vinyl only. Italian customers can probably get copies directly from Noia at the moment.

Speaking of Doomentia they’ve released Usurpress - Tales of Possessors 7” and Usurpress/Bombs of Hades 7”. I have a few copies of both, they cost 50 SEK each.

This is how the records look in real life. I don’t have that many Noia posters so they will only be shipped with the Wicked Edition.

2 new releases.

I can finally announce that Noia - Necessary Extinction LP will be here in the next couple of days. To go with that one a new upcoming Swedish band called Usurpress will release their debut 12" on Plague Island. It's called In Permanent Twilight so just go to the sounds section and listen. I'm pretty sure the Noia fans will dig this, and the other way around.

As for those of you waiting for Gloomy Sunday/Lazarus Blackstar split LP. You just have to keep waiting due to artwork/layout problems. So I guess that one will be out in 2016 or something.

As for more upcoming releases there's a bunch of rad vinyls in the pipeline. Hopefully some of these will be sent to press before the end of this year.

New Records 30/10

On this very small update I have vinyls with Funeral Bitch which is the demo 7” of an early Paul Speckman project. And the very hyped Antichrist debut LP.

These records will sell without a doubt, and they’re both worth getting. But I did get a hold of a few copies of early 90:s Melbourne based one-man band Scroungers. This is very good shit!

Recommended to everyone out there, with an open mind when it comes to underground music. This release will never get a big second hand market value. But if you like to have a bit of dirty punk history in your collection get it. Fuck politics, lets riot!

Some GRIND for a change

C.S.S.O from Japan was one of best and most interesting GRIND bands in the 90:s. They made 2 studio albums and lots of splits. The first album called Nagro Lauxes VIII from 95 is really good, and so are the early splits. I've been in touch  with the vocalist Naru for a couple of years. We've talked about finally getting this masterpiece the vinyl treatment it deserves. I'm sure it won't be a commercial success, but who cares. Hopefully this will see the light sometime next year. You can listen to the opening track Daddy's Home from this album above, what a song title!  

I just got a hold of a few copies of the bootleg LP of the since long sold out GRINDWORK 3"CD which also includes another interesting Japanese grindband called Vivisection which C.S.S.O also released a split 7" with.

Unfortunately the entire B side is filled up with another band... But I guess you just can play the Japanese part of this split over and over again, I do.

Attention Swedish customers, only in Swedish! Try google translate otherwise.

Pga CD skivans försäljningsras (äntligen!) så får fler och fler bolag världen över mindre och mindre marginaler. Och många har helt slutat byta skivor, något som i åratal har hållit nere priserna på underground släpp. Egentligen borde man bojkotta dessa bolag men skivnörden inom mig känner hur det skriker i kroppen när vissa nya släpp annonseras. 

Jag kommer därför att starta ett nytt utskick där ni kan förboka släpp som jag kommer att köpa in. Och där ni kan komma med tips om plattor ni vill köpa men kanske inte vill betala en miljard i porto. Så dra iväg ett mail hit om ni vill vara med på detta utskick. Ingen förskottsbetalning, men boka bara släpp om du avser att köpa.

Det finns även en facebook grupp så lägg till Plague Island Recs Ola 
på facebook och begär medlemskap.

The Death of the Webshop

The webshop is no more.

It was to many things that didn't work the way I wanted it to be. And it was to time-consuming and expensive to run.

I've never really liked those free osCommerce shops so building one of them hasn't really been an option.
I'll probably open up a Tradera shop (Swedish eBay) and have the rest of the items listed here.
